Job summary

Airgas in La Porte, TX is hiring a Production Associate (Cylinder Loader) to safely load and unload high‑pressure cylinders, prepare shipments, and maintain accurate inventory. Responsibilities include moving cylinders with a forklift, inspecting straps, organizing pallets, and following Airgas safety procedures and federal regulations; schedule Monday–Friday with overtime as needed.

Requirements include a high school diploma, at least 1 year forklift experience, ability to lift up to 75 lbs,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have at least 1 year of forklift experience.
• Ability to lift 25–75 lbs routinely and 76+ lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload cylinders onto/off trucks following safety rules.
• Prepare outbound shipments and verify truck inventory.
• Inspect straps, replace as needed, and report shipment status.
• Coordinate cylinder sizes and gas groups on pallets.
• Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
