Job summary

Custom Assembly, Inc. is seeking a Loader for 1st Shift in Huntsville, AL. The role involves operating forklift equipment to move materials, reading load plans, staging units for inspection, and securing cargo for transit. The position requires 2 years of warehouse experience and forklift certification/experience.

We offer PTO, holidays, company-paid life insurance and a 401(k) with company match. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with competitive hourly pay of $18.45.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklift equipment and move materials to and from storage.
• Read and execute the Load Plan.
• Stage units and materials for counting and inspection; ensure shipping reports report units and material shipped.
• Secure units with strapping to prevent damage or shifting in transit.
• Accurately complete receiving reports for units and material received.

Job Description:

Daily tasks will include but not be limited to:

• Ability to safely operate forklift equipment and manually to move materials to and from storage, and load and unload trailers.
• Read and Execute the Load Plan.
• Stage units and materials for counting and inspection; ensures shipping reports accurately report units and material shipped.
• Secure units with strapping to prevent unit damage or shifting in transit.
• Accurately complete receiving reports for units and material received.

Additional Qualifications:

• 2 years warehouse experience
• Forklift driving certification/experience
