Job summary

Custom Assembly, Inc. in Tanner, AL is hiring for a Loader on 1st Shift to safely operate forklift equipment, load and unload trailers, and stage units per the load plan. This full-time warehousing role offers PTO, holidays, life insurance, and a 401(k) with company match.

Shifts run Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Compensation is $18.45 per hour. Candidates should have at least 2 years warehouse experience and forklift certification/experience.

Qualifications

• 2 years warehouse experience
• Forklift driving certification/experience

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklift to move materials and load/unload trailers.
• Read and execute the Load Plan.
• Stage units and materials for counting and inspection; ensure shipping reports reflect units and material shipped.
• Secure units with strapping to prevent damage or shifting in transit.
• Accurately complete receiving reports for units and material received.
