Job summary

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. in Muskegon, MI is seeking a Loader responsible for loading and unloading gas cylinders onto route trucks, moving cylinders with forklift, and ensuring safe handling.

You will inspect inventory, pull items for orders, assist with paperwork, and perform basic cylinder maintenance. A high school diploma and 1+ year in a plant setting are preferred; leadership and teamwork are valued.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Load and unload gas cylinders onto and from route trucks and trailers; operate a forklift as needed.
• Sort empty cylinders by type and verify quantities, styles, and product specs for inventory accuracy.
• Review customer orders, pull items from inventory, and load products for delivery.
• Perform basic cylinder maintenance, including painting, labeling, and cleaning work areas.
• Assist with paperwork accompanying shipments.
• Complete routine and non-routine daily and weekly assignments as directed.

What you will enjoy doing*

• This role requires you to load and unload gas cylinders and related products onto and from route trucks and trailers; move cylinders by rolling and by operating a forklift
• You will sort empty cylinders by type and check cylinder quantities, styles, and product specifications to support accurate inventory management
• You will review customer orders, pull required items from inventory, and load products onto trucks for delivery
• Perform basic cylinder maintenance, including painting, labeling, and cleaning the work area
• Assist with paperwork accompanying shipments
• This role includes completing both routine and non-routine daily and weekly assignments as directed
