Job summary

JetBlue is seeking a Coordinator Load Planning in New York to perform weight and balance calculations ensuring safe aircraft loading for takeoff, flight, and landing. The role involves proactive measures to avoid weight-related delays and ensure CG compliance.

Responsibilities include planning payload data, communicating load plans, and coordinating with Dispatch, Flight Crews, and Stations to resolve weight restrictions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year of airline Operations experience or aviation education.
• Must be available to work nights, weekends, holidays, and varying shifts.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet fixed time constraints.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
• Willing to travel overnight (10%).
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
• This position is not visa sponsorship eligible.

Responsibilities

• Perform weight and balance activities on JetBlue Airways flights.
• Plan and communicate payload data and load plans.
• Manage flight processing including weight restrictions and closeout procedures.
• Coordinate with Station Operations, Flight Crews, System Operations and Dispatch.
• Resolve payload, fuel, and weight restriction issues with Dispatch and Flight Crews.
• Ad-hoc administrative duties as directed.
