Job summary

PrimeFlight Aviation Services is seeking a Load Planner at MIACG3 to coordinate aircraft loading and weight balance. The role requires collaboration with cargo, baggage handling, and flight operations to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient loading for each flight.

You will work with load planning software, monitor cargo placement, and respond to schedule changes while maintaining accurate records and supporting safety and DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience in load planning, cargo handling, or a related field in the aviation industry.
• Strong understanding of aircraft weight and balance principles, as well as cargo loading regulations.
• Ability to pass a DOT background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement load plans for aircraft ensuring optimal balance and weight distribution.
• Coordinate with ground handlers and cargo agents to manage loading/unloading processes.
• Utilize load planning software to create and adjust plans per flight specifications.
• Ensure compliance with airline, regulatory, and DOT guidelines for weight and balance.
