Job summary

Depot Connect International (DCI) in Linden, NJ is seeking an experienced Load Planner to support Dispatch and Equipment Control. The role pays $30/hr and requires a high school diploma with trucking/intermodal experience.

You will manage orders, coordinate daily schedules, and communicate with customers to ensure timely dispatch. Ideal candidates will have strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills, and be proficient with Google Suite to handle documentation and updates

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in trucking and/or intermodal transportation preferred.
• Proficiency with Google Suite (Gmail, Sheets, Docs).
• Strong written and verbal communication and multitasking ability.
• Ability to prioritize and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Enter customer orders into the computer system.
• Report and advise customer orders to dispatch promptly.
• Inform equipment control and dispatch of special customer needs.
• Print orders and coordinate daily dispatch and equipment control schedules.
• Maintain direct/indirect communications with customers by phone, email, or fax.
• Support other office tasks as assigned.
