Job summary

Depot Connect International (DCI) seeks an experienced Load Planner to support Dispatch and Equipment Control at our Linden, NJ facility. You will enter customer orders, coordinate daily schedules for dispatch and equipment control, and communicate with customers and teams to ensure timely operations.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, trucking/intermodal experience, and proficiency with Google Suite.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in trucking and/or intermodal transportation.
• Experience with Google Suite (Gmail, etc.).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask.
• Excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Entering customer orders into the computer system.
• Report and advise customer orders to dispatch in a timely manner.
• Inform equipment control and dispatch of special customer needs when they arise.
• Printing order and coordinating the daily schedule for dispatch and equipment control.
• Maintaining direct and indirect communications with customers via telephone, email, fax, etc.
• Other miscellaneous office support duties as assigned.
