Job summary

Depot Connect International (DCI) in Linden, NJ is seeking an experienced Load Planner to support Dispatch and Equipment Control. The role pays $30/hr and requires a high school diploma with trucking/intermodal experience.

You will manage orders, coordinate daily schedules, and communicate with customers to ensure timely dispatch. Ideal candidates will have strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills, and be proficient with Google Suite to handle documentation and updates

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in trucking and/or intermodal transportation preferred.
• Proficiency with Google Suite (Gmail, Sheets, Docs).
• Strong written and verbal communication and multitasking ability.
• Ability to prioritize and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Enter customer orders into the computer system.
• Report and advise customer orders to dispatch promptly.
• Inform equipment control and dispatch of special customer needs.
• Print orders and coordinate daily dispatch and equipment control schedules.
• Maintain direct/indirect communications with customers by phone, email, or fax.
• Support other office tasks as assigned.

We are looking for an experienced Load Planner to support our Dispatch and Equipment Control operations at our Linden, NJ Facility!

Pay rate: $30/hr

Primary responsibilities of a Load Planner include (but are not limited to):

• Entering customer orders into the computer system
• Report and advise customer orders to dispatch in a timely manner
• Informing equipment control and dispatch of special customer needs when they arise
• Printing order and and coordinating the daily schedule for dispatch and equipment control
• Maintaining direct and indirect communications with customers via telephone, email, fax, etc.
• Other miscellaneous office support duties as assigned

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience in the trucking and/or intermodal transportation industry
• Experience with Google Suite (Gmail, etc.)
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Organizational skills.
