Job summary

CTS Green Bay is seeking a dispatcher to join our team at the Green Bay office. You will plan freight, dispatch loads, and manage local drivers within your assigned area, coordinating closely with fleet and operations to meet daily capacity needs.

The role emphasizes proactive communication with customers and internal teams, ensuring smooth operations and on-time delivery. A focus on teamwork and reliability helps CTS maintain its customer-first culture.

Responsibilities

• Plan freight on tractors by using capacity tools to locate trucks and loads.
• Communicate capacity needs proactively to fleet managers and customer service.
• Manage local drivers in the assigned area.
• Book loads, dispatch planned loads, and own loads for the assigned area.
• Coordinate fleet capacity with operations leadership and drivers.
• Communicate professionally with internal and external contacts regarding account issues.
• Work with customers on account questions and issues.
• Perform additional duties assigned by leadership.

• Plan freight on tractors by utilizing capacity tools to determine location of trucks and available customer loads; tailor planning to meet area needs.
• Understand daily capacity needs/opportunities and pro-actively communicate to fleet manager and customer service teams
• Manage local drivers according to assigned area in the nation.
• Responsible for the booking of loads, the successful dispatch of planned loads and subsequent ownership of loads for assigned area.
  • 350 solo miles per day or 600 team miles per day per truck

• Coordinate fleet capacity needs with operations leadership and drivers; work closely with designated department personnel teams to manage and maintain customer trailer pools.
• Communicate professionally, effectively, and timely with both internal and external customers/contacts regarding account issues.
