- Maintain accurate geographic coding for deliveries and ensure proper retail split for routing.
- Regularly check and manage capacity to ensure delivery routes are optimized, including closing capacities as needed.
- Plan and assign delivery routes 2 days in advance to maximize efficiency and ensure timely deliveries.
- Assign routes to drivers and ensure all necessary details are provided.
- Assign delivery doors in High Jump system, ensuring proper logistics.
- Respond promptly to emails related to logistics, routing, and customer inquiries.
- Manage add-on services and make necessary adjustments to schedules or resources.
- Fill out and manage sheets for same-day and next-day adjustments, ensuring orders are processed and delivered as per requirements.
- Provide assistance to carriers, including route management and troubleshooting delivery issues.
- Collaborate with Ashley's internal teams to ensure smooth operations and timely deliveries.
- Send finalized routes to carriers, ensuring all details are communicated clearly.
- Assist with preload activities and ensure necessary resources are in place for smooth execution.

Job Qualifications
Education:
Experience:
- 1-3 Years Experience in
- Logistics Coordination or Dispatching,
- Transportation planning or routing
- Warehouse operations or distribution center administration
Licenses or Certifications
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Previous experience in logistics, operations, or customer service is preferred.
- Working knowledge of Continuous Improvement
- Handle multiple projects simultaneously within established time constraints
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite, internet
- Perform under strong demands in a fast-paced environment
- Work professionally with customers and co-workers to efficiently serve our customers, treating both with enthusiasm and respect
- Display empathy, understanding and patience with employees and external customers
