Job summary

SBT Global, Inc. is seeking a logistics planner to optimize daily load planning on TMS and WMS systems. You will manage transportation service coordination, using independent judgement to maximize efficiency and on-time performance.

The role requires strong communication, problem-solving under pressure, and the ability to train others. Fresh graduates are welcome, with preference for candidates fluent in English and Spanish dialog.

Qualifications

• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Knowledge of the transportation industry is preferred.
• Able to communicate effectively with different departments.
• Capable of training others and transferring knowledge.
• Capable of solving problems under pressure using independent judgement.
• Detail oriented with strong keyboard skills.

Responsibilities

• Load optimization daily on Transportation Management System and Warehouse Management System.
• Manage overall planning and coordination of transportation services to maximize efficiency.
• Use judgement and network tools to locate trucks and loads and tailor planning.
• Plan acceptance of loads and assign to trucks to meet service commitments.
• Ensure successful dispatch and ownership of loads for the area.
• Coordinate with other teams to align network needs and strategic plans.
• Communicate late pickups, deliveries, and any changes to the departments.
