Job summary

OSI Systems is seeking a Leave of Absence (LOA) & Workers' Compensation (WC) Administrator to support employees through leave and injury claims with compliant, timely administration. This role handles intake, eligibility, vendor interactions, and communications for FMLA, ADA processes, parental/military leaves, and WC claims.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in LOA/WC HR, strong organizational and Excel skills, and the ability to manage confidential data with integrity while ensuring policy

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Admin or related field; relevant work experience accepted in lieu of degree.
• 5+ years’ HR experience with LOA/WC focus.
• Strong knowledge of FMLA, ADA, state/local laws and basic workers’ compensation concepts.
• Excellent organizational skills with confidentiality (HIPAA/PHI).
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage LOA/WC case intake, eligibility determinations, and documentation.
• Coordinate with HRBP, payroll, and TPA; monitor timelines and return‑to‑work.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state/local leave laws; maintain audit‑ready records.
• Document injury details and report claims to carrier; ensure accuracy of first reports.
• Coordinate with employees, HRBPs, supervisors, EH&S, and carrier; track status and reserves.
• Facilitate return‑to‑work and light‑duty arrangements with stakeholders.
• Maintain confidential case files and support litigation holds when needed.
• Maintain case data in HRIS; generate monthly dashboards.
• Create/maintain leave SOPs; identify process improvements.
