Job summary

Eurofins USA PSS Insourcing Solutions is hiring a full-time laboratory position in Boston, MA. The role supports research scientists, performs analyses of peptides, nucleic acids, proteins, and antibodies using HPLC, UV-VIS, and other instruments, and helps formulate biologics and lipid nanoparticles.

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s in biology/biochemistry/chemistry (or Master’s) and 1–2 years (or <1 year) of lab experience, with an ability to troubleshoot and work under GLP. Commutable distance to Boston encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 1–2 years of lab experience or Master’s with <1 year of experience.
• Understanding of industry practices and standards.
• Ability to independently troubleshoot and interpret experimental results.
• Hands-on experience with pipetting, pH, UV-VIS and HPLC.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Support research scientists with experiments per company protocol.

Job Description

Job Responsibilities and Requirements

• Support research scientists with their experiments based on company protocol, method, and procedures
• Examine and perform analysis on peptides, nucleic acids, proteins and antibodies using general wet chemistry techniques and various instruments, such as: HPLC, Solo-VPE, MFI, AKTA, DLS, HI-AC, Viscosity
• Formulate and characterize lipid nanoparticles
• Support scientists with the formulation of biologics and nucleic acids and buffers, as needed
• Follow GLP and good documentation using electronic lab notebook
• Help with organizing and cleaning of lab and work environment
• Follow documentation and safety practices
• Ensure adherence to highest quality and efficiency standards in laboratory operations

Qualifications

Basic Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in biology, biochemistry, chemistry, or other related field with 1-2 years of relevant laboratory experience. Master’s degree in biology, biochemistry, chemistry, or other related field with < 1 year of relevant laboratory experience.
• Understanding of industry practices and standards.
• Ability to independently troubleshoot and interpret experimental results.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with pipetting, pH, Uv-VIS and HPLC.
• Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

The position isfull-time, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pmwith overtime as needed.Candidates living within a commutable distance ofBoston, MAare encouraged to apply.
