Job summary

Eurofins USA PSS Insourcing Solutions seeks a full-time lab technician to support scientists in experiments, run analyses on peptides, nucleic acids, proteins and antibodies, and assist in formulation of biologics. You will adhere to GLP standards and maintain accurate electronic records.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support research scientists with experiments per company protocol and procedures.
• Analyze peptides, nucleic acids, proteins and antibodies using standard techniques.
• Formulate and characterize lipid nanoparticles.
• Support formulation of biologics and nucleic acids and buffers as needed.
• Follow GLP and document using electronic lab notebook.
• Maintain organized lab space and uphold safety practices.
• Ensure high quality and efficiency in lab operations.

Job Description

Job Responsibilities and Requirements

• Support research scientists with their experiments based on company protocol, method, and procedures
• Examine and perform analysis on peptides, nucleic acids, proteins and antibodies using general wet chemistry techniques and various instruments, such as: HPLC, Solo-VPE, MFI, AKTA, DLS, HI-AC, Viscosity
• Formulate and characterize lipid nanoparticles
• Support scientists with the formulation of biologics and nucleic acids and buffers, as needed
• Follow GLP and good documentation using electronic lab notebook
• Help with organizing and cleaning of lab and work environment
• Follow documentation and safety practices
• Ensure adherence to highest quality and efficiency standards in laboratory operations

Qualifications

Basic Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in biology, biochemistry, chemistry, or other related field with 1-2 years of relevant laboratory experience. Master’s degree in biology, biochemistry, chemistry, or other related field with < 1 year of relevant laboratory experience.
• Understanding of industry practices and standards.
• Ability to independently troubleshoot and interpret experimental results.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with pipetting, pH, Uv-VIS and HPLC.
• Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

Additional Information

The position isfull-time, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pmwith overtime as needed.Candidates living within a commutable distance ofBoston, MAare encouraged to apply.
