Job summary

Cheniere Energy, Inc. is seeking a Senior/Staff Production Engineer to support safe, sustainable LNG production. You will collaborate across Production, Maintenance, Commercial, Gas Supply, and Engineering to optimize capacity, monitor tools, and manage KPI targets.

You will lead forecasting, energy balance, emissions accounting, and tool development while mentoring staff and ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Process/Chemical or Petroleum Engineering.
• PE license is a plus.
• 5 years of production engineering experience for Senior; 10 years for Staff.

Responsibilities

• Forecasting: review and validate tools and advise on limitations.
• Lead daily strategy planning with Production Management.
• Monitor LNG inventories and feed gas estimates.
• Develop production performance summaries for process units.
• Mentor Production Engineering staff.
• Support MOC, PSSR, PHAs and regulatory audits.
