Job summary

Freeport LNG is seeking an Operator to support safe and efficient plant operations in a LNG, NGL, or chemical facility. You will work under supervision to execute field activities, implement directives from the Panel Operator, and collaborate with DCS personnel to maintain reliability.

The role requires a rotating 12-hour shift, overtime and on-call duties, plus readiness to obtain TWIC clearance. Strong safety culture and hands-on technical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate's Degree in Process Technology or a High School diploma with 1+ year of LNG/NGL/chemical plant operations experience.
• Must be able to work rotating 12-hour shifts, overtime, and be eligible for TWIC clearance.
• Experience with field operations and operating procedures in an LNG environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Make field control changes to maintain smooth operations.
• Comply with facility safety, environmental, and health requirements.
• Conduct facility rounds to verify safe operating envelopes and report issues.
• Monitor plant equipment and report anomalies; supervise daily work per procedures.
• Attend safety meetings and participate in emergency response actions as a trained team member.
• Perform duties assigned by supervision and training staff.
