Job summary

firstPRO US seeks a senior engineer to support LNG/LPG operations and major capital projects in a field-focused role. You will contribute to engineering, coordination, and documentation while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

The position requires strong technical writing, multitask management, and the ability to work onsite in Massachusetts with occasional field visits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree with 8–10 years engineering experience.
• Experience supporting LNG/LPG operations or energy infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of LNG/cryogenic processes, thermodynamics, piping, I&C, rotating equipment.
• Familiar with NFPA 59A, 40 CFR 193, ASME B31.3.
• Proficient in MS Office, MS Project, Adobe PDF, AutoCAD; strong writing and communication.

Responsibilities

• Support LNG operations and capital projects through engineering and project coordination.
• Develop procedures, standards, documentation, and MOC processes.
• Assist with budgets, cost estimates, bid specs, equipment selection, and scheduling.
• Coordinate internal and external resources; track quality, schedule, and budget.

Job description

• Experience: Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree with 8–10 years of engineering experience, ideally supporting LNG/LPG operations or related energy infrastructure.
• Core Responsibilities: Support LNG operations and capital projects through engineering, project coordination, technical documentation, procedure/standard development, project controls, maintenance support, and Management of Change (MOC).
• Technical Requirements: Strong knowledge of LNG/cryogenic processes, thermodynamics, piping, instrumentation & controls, rotating equipment, hazard identification, and engineering drawings. Must be familiar with NFPA 59A, 40 CFR 193, and ASME B31.3.
• Project Work: Assist with budgets, cost estimates, bid specifications, equipment selection, project documentation, quality/schedule/budget tracking, and coordination of internal and external resources.
• Additional Skills: MS Office, MS Project, Adobe PDF, and AutoCAD; strong technical writing, organization, communication, and ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
• Interview: First round via Teams, followed by an onsite interview.
• Best candidate profile: A senior-level engineer with strong LNG/LPG, cryogenic, piping, or gas infrastructure experience who is comfortable being onsite, working in the field, reviewing technical standards/procedures, and supporting large engineering projects.
