Qualifications

High school or equivalent (GED) preferred.
Proof of LNA Education Certificate and Final Report of Written and Clinical Competency Testing Results as required by NH Board of Nursing.
Certification required: BLS for Healthcare Providers or equivalent per NH Board of Nursing.
Licensure required: NH State LNA license.

Responsibilities

Performs activities of daily living and personal care under RN guidance.
Performs technical skills relating to patients' physical, mental health, and social needs under RN guidance.
Documents care and reports RN on patient status and data.
Adheres to safe patient handling policies and time management.
Maintains cleanliness and supplies in patient care areas.
Receives delegated work adhering to the five rights of delegation.
Performs job-specific duties and other tasks as assigned.
Serves as a preceptor for new employees.
