Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living's The Arbors of Shelburne is seeking a compassionate Licensed Nursing Assistant for the Evening Shift (2pm–10pm), part-time, to provide caring, resident-centered services in a warm, home-like environment.

Valid Vermont LNA license is required. Prior experience in skilled nursing or dementia care is preferred. We offer shift differentials and a comprehensive benefits package as part of our team.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Vermont LNA license.
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing/assisted living setting preferred but not required.
• Experience with dementia care is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Document care and report changes to the nurse or supervisor.
• Engage residents in meaningful activities and provide emotional support.
• Use customer service skills to ensure residents receive high-quality care.
• Other duties as needed by the team.

We are looking for a compassionate LNA to join our team! As a Licensed Nursing Assistant, your main role will be to deliver care to our residents within a warm, comfortable, and home-like environment.

LNA Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Documenting care provided and reporting any changes in resident health or behavior to appropriate staff.
• Engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing emotional support.
• Utilizing customer service skills to ensure that residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.
• Other duties as needed.

Requirements:

• Valid CNA/HCA/LNA license required
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required
• Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired
