Job summary

Wentworth-Douglass Hospital in Dover, NH is seeking a Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) to work 36 hours per week on 3Garrison. The role supports licensed staff by providing basic patient care, assisting with daily living activities, and documenting vitals in the electronic health record.

You will perform tasks such as bathing, feeding, transfers, walking, and 1:1 safety observation, while collaborating with RNs and physicians to ensure safe, compassionate care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• BLS required.
• LNA - New Hampshire certification required by the NH Board of Nursing.
• 0–1 year patient care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care and assist with daily living activities.
• Take vital signs, assist with bathing, feeding, transfers, and mobility.
• Record measurements and glucose results in the EHR.
• Assist RNs/physicians with examinations and treatments as needed.
• Maintain clean, stocked patient rooms and assist with admissions/discharges.
• Support orientation of new PCA team members.
• Communicate with nursing staff about patient care needs.
