Job summary

Ellie Mental Health–Clarkston is seeking a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) for full-time, in-person and telehealth care in Michigan. The practice offers clinical support, billing assistance, and community outreach while clinicians build and maintain caseloads.

The position operates on a W-2 straight-commission structure, with benefits included and opportunities to grow caseload through outreach and scheduling support.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Michigan LMSW license in good standing with the Clinical designation; limited licensure does not qualify
• Master of Social Work degree from a CSWE-accredited program
• Experience with outpatient psychotherapy, assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, risk assessment, and documentation
• Ability to complete accurate documentation within practice timelines
• Willingness to take an active role in building and maintaining a caseload
• Strong communication, organization, initiative, professional boundaries, dependability, and follow-through
• Ability to serve diverse clients competently within scope of practice
• Proficiency with EHR and office technology; Valant experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Conduct mental health intake assessments and establish diagnoses within scope
• Develop treatment plans and provide evidence-based psychotherapy
• Complete progress notes, treatment plans, risk documentation, and other records accurately and on time
• Maintain scheduling consistency and follow up after cancellations
• Respond promptly and professionally to referrals
• Participate in consultation, staff meetings, and quality-improvement activities
• Communicate professionally with clients, families, colleagues, billing staff, and referral partners
• Participate actively in caseload development and community outreach
