Job summary

Experis in Boise, ID is seeking a Technical Writer (LMS) for Workforce Development on a 6-month contract. You will support training and documentation systems, monitor change requests, and maintain documentation across templates and standards.

Collaborate with content experts to ensure document accuracy and create OJT certifications for controlled documents. Requires a related degree and 2+ years of technical writing, with LMS and SharePoint experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience writing technical documentation for new systems, equipment, or processes (semiconductor domain preferred).
• Experience administering a learning management system preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with SharePoint and working in manufacturing environments for at least 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Support training and documentation systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor and follow up on documentation change requests to maintain system integrity.
• Edit, proofread, and maintain documentation using appropriate standards and templates.
• Work collaboratively with content experts to ensure document accuracy and relevance.
• Create and manage on-the-job training (OJT) certifications for controlled documents.
