Job summary

Stride, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Product Manager to drive improvements in the Canvas LMS experience and PowerSchool platform for educators and students.

This role focuses on implementation, integrations, and UX design to ensure Canvas works with 3rd party tools and delivers content effectively. You will own the backlog, write clear user stories, collaborate with engineering, design, and curriculum teams, and develop metrics to measure adoption and learning impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; technical or instructional technology background preferred.
• 4-8 years of experience in product management or LMS administration (Canvas and PowerSchool experience strongly preferred).
• Strong understanding of LMS integrations, standards (LTI, QTI, SCORM, xAPI), and digital content delivery.
• Experience working directly with educators, administrators, and instructional designers to improve workflows and learning experiences.
• Excellent collaboration skills and ability to translate user needs into technical requirements.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Passion for improving digital learning environments and creating intuitive, student-centered experiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end implementation of Canvas features, enhancements, and workflows across K-12 environments.
• Guide PowerSchool features implementations across K-12 environments.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, and curriculum teams to optimize UX for teachers, students, admins.
• Evaluate, integrate, and manage 3rd party tools and content providers within Canvas (LTI, QTI, SCORM, xAPI).
• Gather user feedback to identify pain points and prioritize usability improvements.
• Own the product backlog with clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Work with support teams to monitor performance and resolve integration issues.
• Develop metrics and dashboards to measure adoption and learning impact.
• Create training materials, release notes, and demos for rollout and adoption.
