Job summary

Minority Professional Network, Inc. seeks a Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist (LMRT) / Non-Certified Radiologic Technician (NCT) to join the clinical team in Texas.

The role performs limited radiographic procedures, supports patient care, and ensures radiation safety under provider supervision. The position requires an LMRT/NCT certification, BLS, and the ability to manage patient flow, registrations, and triage.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must possess a current LMRT/NCT certification for state employment.
• Must obtain/maintain a current BLS certification.
• Prior experience is preferred.
• PC skills or computer experience required.
• Ability to read/write medical terminology.
• Ability to work all shifts.
• Ability to escort/transport patients by wheelchair or stretcher.
• Detail-oriented with excellent interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and manage patient flow efficiently.
• Obtain patient history, vital signs, and chart information.
• Position instruments and assist provider as directed; sterilize instruments.
• Administer injections, meds, eye/ear irrigations, dress wounds, draw blood, assist with procedures.
• Perform diagnostic tests and CLIA-waived lab tests as required.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and complete patient chart with services rendered.
• Assist with registration, triage, and clerical duties as needed.
• Communicate procedure explanations to patients and alleviate anxiety.
• Follow ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure.
• Train staff on patient positioning and radiation exposure guidelines.
