Job summary

GoHealth Urgent Care in Houston seeks a Medical Assistant to support Providers and Radiologic Technologists, handling patient care, organization, and communication. The role includes performing limited capacity x-rays and reporting findings to clinicians, contributing to a seamless patient experience.

LMRT program graduate is required, High School diploma or equivalent, and BLS at hire. Competitive hourly rate with a monthly incentive bonus and benefits for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of a LMRT program required.
• X-ray experience preferred; Medical Assistant experience preferred.
• BLS certification required at time of hire.
• CCMA/CMA/RMA/NCMA/NRCMA certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support Medical Providers and Radiologic Technologists and patients.
• Manage patient care tasks and coordinate organization and communication.
• Perform limited capacity x-rays and report results to providers.
• Maintain patient management and office systems with accuracy and timeliness.
