Job summary

GoHealth Urgent Care in Spring, TX seeks a Medical Assistant to support providers and radiology staff, manage patient care, and coordinate documentation for efficient visits.

The role includes performing limited x-rays, reporting results, and maintaining an organized workflow in a fast-paced urgent care setting. LMRT program completion and relevant certifications are preferred; BLS is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of LMRT program required.
• X-ray experience preferred.
• BLS required at time of hire.
• Certifications: CCMA, CMA, RMA, NCMA, NRCMA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support Medical Providers and Radiologic Technologist.
• Assist with patient care management, organization and communication.
• Perform limited capacity x-rays and report results to providers.
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation and patient flow.
