Job summary

Mercy-GoHealth Urgent Care, LLC is seeking a Medical Assistant with X-Ray capabilities to support physicians and radiologic technologists. The role includes performing limited x-ray services, patient registration, and coordinating with care teams in a fast-paced urgent care setting.

Ideal candidates will have a Medical Assistant program, HS diploma, and LMRT/LLRT certification. BLS is required at hire; experience with x-ray procedures is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Medical Assistant Program preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to Medical Providers and Radiologic Technologist.
• Perform limited x-ray services and report results.
• Conduct patient registration and insurance verification.
• CASH handling and appointment scheduling.
• Maintain medical records and order sheets for supplies.
• Stock exam rooms and front desk; ensure equipment readiness.
• Open/close duties and daily controls.
