Job summary

GoHealth Urgent Care in the Greater Houston area is seeking a Medical Assistant to support providers, radiologic technologists and patients. The role includes patient care management, x-ray duties and coordinating communications to ensure a seamless, high-quality patient experience.

Qualified candidates have a LMRT program, high school diploma, and prefer Medical Assistant experience with X-ray capabilities. BLS is required at hire. Generous PTO and incentives are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• LMRT program required.
• Medical Assistant experience preferred.
• Experience performing X-rays preferred.
• BLS certification required at time of hire.
• Certifications such as CCMA CMA RMA NCMA NRCMA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support Medical Providers, Radiologic Technologist, and patients with daily tasks including patient care management, organization and communication.
• Perform limited capacity x-rays and report results to Medical Providers.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient information and documentation.
