Job summary

A & T SYSTEMS INC in the United States is seeking an experienced LMR Electronics Technician to support land mobile radio operations and related systems.

You'll work with a team of technicians, test and maintain electrical systems, use diagnostic tools, and ensure both hardware and software meet specifications while installing and testing equipment on site.

Requires active DoD Secret Clearance and 2+ years of LMR experience; proficiency with Harris, EFJohnson and Motorola radios is a plus.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret Clearance required.
• 2+ years LMR Electronics Technician experience.
• Detailed understanding of LMR technologies.
• Ability to program, troubleshoot and perform system diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to land mobile radio operations.
• Work with technicians focused on wireless systems for two-way and multi-point applications.
• Construct, maintain, and test electrical systems and components.
• Use measuring and diagnostic tools to test and modify electronics parts.
• Ensure systems and components meet established specifications.
• Ensure all software including network control programs satisfy the communications needs covering both hardware and software installed.
• Provide hands-on troubleshooting and diagnostic support for related systems and equipment failures or service issues.
• Install and test equipment.
