Job summary

CHE Behavioral Health Services in New York is seeking Licensed Marriage & Family Therapists (LMFTs) to join our clinician-led, APA-approved behavioral health team serving adults and geriatric residents. This role offers a Mon–Fri schedule from 7 AM to 7 PM, with compensation of $80,000–$100,000 per year and options for fee-for-service or salaried arrangements.

What You’ll Do

• Start by reviewing your schedule, checking for new referrals, and noting any changes in residents’ conditions

• Meet with residents throughout the day for brief, focused therapy sessions (support, coping skills, mood, adjustment)

• Complete initial assessments and update treatment plans for new or ongoing residents

• Collaborate with nurses, rehab staff, and providers to discuss care needs and any behavioral concerns

• Document sessions, treatment plans, and required notes to meet compliance and billing standards

• Connect with family members when needed and plan your schedule and follow-ups for the next day
