Job summary

Bob Evans Farms, Inc. is seeking a Night Sanitation worker to maintain clean, safe areas in the facility. You will perform cleaning, equipment maintenance, and material reporting in a fast-paced environment, while following GMP, safety rules, and ERP procedures.

The role requires reading and writing basic reports, solid attention to detail, and the ability to lift 25–50 lbs while standing for extended periods. This is a full-time, on-site position during night hours.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos.
• Ability to write simple reports and fill out forms.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-task environment.
• Physically capable of lifting 25–50 lbs and standing long shifts.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize assigned area with attention to cleanliness and food safety.
• Follow and execute cleaning schedules using power washers and hand tools.
• Disassemble and reassemble equipment as needed.
• Set up equipment and supplies for the next day’s production.
• Report and scan materials into the ERP system.
• Comply with GMP, environmental, health and safety rules.
• Report unsafe acts, conditions, and injuries to appropriate personnel.

Responsibilities

2-2-3 schedule - Hours 6pm to 6am - NIGHTS.

• Clean and sanitize assigned area, paying close attention to minor details of cleanliness and food safety
• Possess and acquire knowledge of chemicals and chemical safety for the cleaning chemicals that will be used in assigned area
• Can follow and execute cleaning schedules/requirements; utilizing power washers, hoses, small hand and power tools and other equipment
• Dissemble and reassembly of equipment, utilizing hand and power tools
• Set up equipment and supplies for the next day’s production
• Report and scan materials issued into the company’s ERP system
• Comply with applicable environment, health and safety rules, procedures, laws and accepted safe work and Good Manufacturing (GMP) practices
• Follow any and all safety standards
• Report all unsafe acts, unsafe conditions and injuries to the appropriate person or office

Working Conditions

Areas of facility may include controlled temperature zones including areas with refrigeration and noise levels requiring PPE.
