Job summary

Bob Evans Farms, Inc. is seeking a production sanitation associate to ensure clean, compliant manufacturing lines in a fast-paced environment.

You will disassemble and reassemble equipment for sanitation, support operating lines when needed, and follow SSOP/USDA guidelines to maintain safety and quality. Strong communication and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a manufacturing/food processing facility preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform start-to-finish cleaning and sanitation of production lines.

Responsibilities

This position is responsible for performing start to finish cleaning and sanitation of production lines. Also, disassembling and assembling equipment for the purpose of cleaning and inspection. This position will support Operations and run productions lines when sanitation is not required.

Accountabilities

• Safety 1st. Follow all workplace safety rules.
• Participate from start to finish in sanitation of production lines and maintain sanitation completion time per the Master Sanitation schedule.
• Clean equipment as described by SSOP and toUSDA standards.
• Participate in disassembly and reassembly of equipment, with or without guidance.
• Follow and execute cleaning schedules/requirements.
• Ability to communicate problems or issues to production leadership to address concerns of product waste, quality or employee safety.
• Comply with applicable environment, health and safety rules, procedures, laws and accepted safe work practices.
• Report all unsafe acts, unsafe conditions and injuries to the appropriate person or office.
• Carries out responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.

Qualifications

Experience:

• Prior experience in a manufacturing/food processing facility preferred but not required.

Work Environment And Physical Requirements

• Manufacturing environment which includes proper use of required PPE.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to cold, wet or humid conditions. The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and the noise level can be loud.
• May lift up to 50 lbs.regularly.
• Requires walking, standing, bending and lifting for long periods of time.
• Vision abilities required to validate and enter data on computer.
