Outlier is hiring a QA Coder for a remote, contract-based role focused on training AI models to code. You will review AI-generated code, rate model responses across multiple dimensions, and craft clear computer science prompts to push AI capabilities. The program targets applicants from LATAM and offers flexible, remote work with competitive hourly pay.

This is a 1099 contract opportunity. Rates pay up to $34 USD/hr, plus additional incentives.

Qualifications

• Completed a Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science from a selective institution.
• Software engineering experience contributing to a live production codebase, ideally for a technology company.
• Ability to articulate complex concepts fluently in written and spoken English.
• Excellent attention to detail, including grammar, punctuation, and style guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Review AI-generated code and flag errors, inconsistencies, or quality issues using structured guidelines.
• Rate and rank model responses across key dimensions—accuracy, instruction following, and presentation.
• Write computer science questions to develop clear, well-structured prompts challenging AI models.
