Job summary

7Seventy is seeking an AI Product Engineer to design, build, deploy, and improve production-ready AI applications for enterprise clients. You will own end-to-end AI product development—from requirements gathering and rapid prototyping with large language models to production deployment, data integration, evaluation, and ongoing optimization.

Role blends software engineering, AI, data engineering, and cloud infrastructure with direct client engagements.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering at least one LLM-powered application with real users.
• Hands-on data engineering including data modeling, ETL, and pipelines.
• Production deployment experience with secure, reliable systems.
• Ability to translate client needs into technical tasks and plans.
• Strong programming, debugging, and system design skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end development of AI-powered products from concept to production.
• Gather requirements, evaluate requests, define approaches, and prioritize work.
• Prototype AI applications using LLMs and convert into reliable production systems.
• Develop evaluation processes, error analysis, and improve reliability.
• Design data ingestion, data models, ETL processes, and production pipelines.
• Integrate AI apps with existing systems and enterprise workflows.
• Serve as technical contact with client engineers and executives.
• Implement instrumentation, analytics, and metrics to guide improvements.
• Manage production reliability, security, and cost-efficient cloud usage.
• Document decisions and insights for teams and clients.
