Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in Boston, MA seeks a Software Development Engineer with a strong machine learning background to build customization capabilities for LLMs, including fine-tuning, distillation, and evaluation.

You will collaborate with Applied Scientists, leverage Amazon’s large-scale computing resources, and drive development of multimodal LLMs and Generative AI solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of novel LLM training techniques and optimizations to advance state of LLMs.
• Collaborate with Applied Scientists and leverage large-scale computing resources to accelerate multimodal AI solutions.
• Deliver reliable, scalable AI products in a hyper-growth environment with strong communication to business and technical partners.
