Amazon's Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) team in Boston is seeking a passionate Software Development Engineer with a strong machine learning background to build customization capabilities such as fine tuning, distillation, model evaluation, and prompt optimization.

You will lead development of novel LLM training techniques, collaborate with Applied Scientists, and leverage Amazon’s data and compute resources to advance multimodal AI solutions in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience (design patterns, reliability and scaling).
• Experience programming with at least one software language.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of novel LLM training techniques and optimizations.
• Collaborate with Applied Scientists to leverage large-scale data and compute resources.
