Job summary

The University of Louisville is seeking a Department Coordinator IV (Program Coordinator, LLCs/TCs) to lead in-hall education and promote the living-learning and themed residence hall communities within the University Housing and Resident Experience. You will recruit and engage living-learning partners, support their visions, and coordinate marketing, applications, and student selections for LLCs and TCs.

This full-time role requires coordinating with campus partners, supervising Resident

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Grade 4 (Hourly)
• Master’s degree or active enrollment in a graduate program
• Experience with living-learning communities
• Experience with residential education and student engagement
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and student information systems (PeopleSoft, Navigate/Card Smart, StarRez)

Responsibilities

• Enhance opportunities to maximize student learning, development, and academic success for all communities.
• Coordinate and implement initiatives to develop LLC and TC communities.
• Recruit, engage, and establish relationships with LLC/TC campus and community partners.
• Coordinate marketing and promotion, application process, and student selection for LLCs/TCs.
• Oversee Resident Education staff and ensure programming benchmarks are met.
• Lead efforts to reinforce classroom and community learning in residence halls and develop life-skills enrichment education.
• Maintain records of community partner information, funds, and events.
• Support UHRE and Resident Experience leadership with administrative duties.
• Assist with Division initiatives such as freshman orientation, Welcome Week, and move-in events.
• Perform other duties and complete special projects as assigned.
