Job summary

H2ajobs seeks a Farmworker to assist with cleaning and maintaining chicken houses in Laurel Hill, NC. Responsibilities include litter removal, repairing lines, re-bedding with fresh shavings, and operating basic farm equipment. Housing, meals, and transportation are provided by the employer.

Must be 18+, legally eligible to work in the United States, and able to obtain a valid US driver’s license within two weeks. Weekend/holiday work may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Worker has 3 days from date of hire to show proof of legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Must be able to obtain a valid US Driver's License within 2 weeks of reporting to work and possess/maintain a clean MVR.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the complete clean-out and annual maintenance of chicken houses.
• Complete removal of old litter; repair and maintenance of feed and water lines, feed hoppers, and electrical or structural concerns.
• Re-bed chicken houses with fresh shavings after repairs.
• May operate various farm equipment (tractors, farm trucks, etc.) and other related farmworker, livestock activities.
