Job summary

H2ajobs is seeking a farm worker to feed, water, and monitor livestock, herd cattle to pastures, and move animals and equipment across the farm. You will maintain pens and fences, clean facilities, and assist with medications according to protocols.

Requires 2 months of experience, ability to obtain a driver’s license within 30 days, and the ability to work in extreme temperatures. English speaking and strict biosecurity rules are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• 2 months experience in livestock handling or farm work.
• Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire.
• No CDL required for this role.
• Must be able to work in extreme temperatures and outdoors.
• Biosecurity and food safety compliance are mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Feed and water livestock and monitor supplies.
• Herd cattle to pastures or enclosures as needed.
• Move livestock and equipment between locations on the farm.
• Maintain stalls, pens, yards, and fences; clean with disinfectants.
• Mix feed and administer medications per prescribed portions.
• Maintain growth, feeding, production, and cost records.
