Job summary

H2ajobs is seeking a farm worker to feed and water livestock, monitor supplies, and herd animals to pastures or enclosures. You will inspect animals for health, assist with medications, and help with branding and movement of livestock.

The role includes equipment maintenance, driving a pickup for supplies (no CDL required), housing and meals provided by the employer, and occasional town trips. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in extreme temperatures.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire.
• Able to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to speak English.
• Willing to work outdoors in extreme temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Feed and water livestock and monitor supplies to ensure healthy animals.
• Herd livestock to pastures or to scales, trucks, or enclosures.
• Inspect animals for illness or injury and administer basic treatments as needed.
• Maintain equipment, pens, yards, fences, and related facilities; move livestock as required.
