Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire.
• Must be able to work in extreme temperatures and physically demanding conditions.
• Must have positive verifiable experience in similar farm labor and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Feed and water livestock and monitor food and water supplies.
• Herd livestock to pastures or to enclosures and inspect animals for illness or injury.
• Provide basic medical care and arrange veterinary services as needed.
• Mark livestock for ownership using brands, tags, or tattoos.
• Maintain equipment, buildings, pens, yards, and fences; repair when needed.
• Move equipment or livestock between locations; operate trucks or carts.
• Maintain growth, production, and cost records.
• Lift and carry items up to 50 pounds and adhere to biosecurity and safety rules.
