• Requires a college or university degree in a related field.
• Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP), FDA regulations, and IRB requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates clinical research activities for patients with chronic liver disease, liver transplant recipients, and transplant candidates across inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Screens patients for study eligibility using electronic medical records and transplant databases.
• Collaborates with transplant physicians, coordinators, organ procurement organizations, and sponsors to facilitate study enrollment and protocol compliance.
• Coordinates collection and processing of biological specimens per study protocols.
• Maintains transplant-specific research databases and reports endpoints, graft outcomes, and adverse events.
• Assists with investigator-initiated studies focused on transplant research and outcomes.
• Supports regulatory submissions, continuing reviews, protocol amendments, and sponsor monitoring visits.
• Performs other related tasks under supervision.
