Mirum Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Therapeutic Account Manager for the Liver portfolio in Grand Rapids. The TAM will build deep clinical knowledge, identify key liver disease accounts, and implement strategic plans to advance patient identification and treatment pathways.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive sales experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
• Rare disease experience is highly preferred; hepatology/gastroenterology experience desirable.
• Strong clinical aptitude and ability to learn, retain, and communicate complex disease-state information.
• Experience with account-based selling across health systems, centers of excellence, and multidisciplinary care teams.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel up to 70%.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a focused territory business plan aligned with national, zone, and regional priorities.
• Use performance data, customer insights, market intelligence, access dynamics, and competitive trends to identify opportunities and adjust strategy.
• Deliver territory objectives through disciplined prioritization, engagement, and accountability for outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely customer records, forecasts, expense reporting, and updates per company expectations.
• Identify, prioritize, and develop high-opportunity accounts and referral networks across hepatology and gastroenterology.
• Build trusted relationships with physicians, nurses, and care teams by delivering relevant value and follow-through.
