Job summary

BeWell Care At Home in Vernon, CT is seeking a dedicated live-in caregiver to provide compassionate home care, ensuring dignity and safety for clients who age in place.

You will deliver personal care, prepare meals, support daily activities, and coordinate with family and care team. The role features a private room, flexible schedule, and opportunities for training and advancement.

Qualifications

• Must have two years of prior experience as a live-in caregiver, home health aide, or PCA.
• Compassionate, patient, dependable, and mindful of privacy in a client’s home.
• Must pass a drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Personal care with dignity – assist with feeding, bathing, grooming, toileting and transfers.
• Healthy home & meals – plan, prep, and serve nutritious meals; light housekeeping and laundry.
• Care plan adheres – follow a well curated care plan structured by family and team.
• Companionship & engagement – chat, play games, walks, and support social outings.
• Family & team communication – maintain clear, respectful updates with loved ones and the care team.
