Job summary

A home care service provider in Hartford, Connecticut is seeking compassionate Caregivers to enhance the lives of seniors. In this role, you will work individually with clients, providing companionship and assistance with daily activities, promoting independence in their homes. Qualifications

• CNA or HHA license preferred or 6 months of full-time work or 12 months of part-time work caring for geriatric or chronically ill persons.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Reliable transportation; if transporting clients, must also have proof of valid driver's license and auto insurance.
• Proof of current TB testing.
• Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position.
• Mature, caring, punctual, and reliable.
• Pass a criminal background check (national and required by the state).

Responsibilities

• Support bathing, grooming, and toileting.
• Help with ambulation and medication reminders.
