Job summary

Entravision is seeking a Technical Director TV in Las Vegas, NV. This full-time role leads the television crew during broadcasts and oversees pre-production for topical news briefs and promotional content.

You'll operate the video switcher during live newscasts, edit footage, collaborate with producers, and ensure high-quality on-air presentation. A college degree and Adobe experience are preferred, with at least one year in a similar role.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred and production background.
• One year experience as technical director.
• Ability to operate all production equipment.
• Previous Adobe experience required.
• Knowledge of production techniques, including camera and editing.

Responsibilities

• Participates in daily editorial meetings.
• Operates the video switcher and related devices during live newscasts.
• In charge of pre-production of topical news briefs and promo teases.
• Edits and cuts videos for the show, including headlines and teases.
• Works with producers to improve on-screen storytelling.
• Archives and files news footage daily.
• Sets up studio shots, lighting and equipment with the Producer.
• Records network feeds and daily air-checks.
