Qualifications

• Fluency in English.
• Ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced live news environment.
• Ability to communicate and document effectively and concisely to the team.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative environment.
• Understanding of video production, switchers, graphics systems, audio boards, and newsroom systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Direct live and recorded newscasts and special programs using automated production control systems.
• Coordinate with producers to execute editorial and creative vision for high-energy newscasts.
• Monitor cameras, graphics, audio, video servers, and switcher functions.
• Troubleshoot issues during live broadcasts.
• Collaborate with meteorologists, anchors, reporters, and technical staff for smooth broadcasts.
• Maintain broadcast quality standards and FCC/regulatory compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
