Job summary

The role requires strong writing, editing, and a clear on-air voice, with flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed. Prior broadcast experience is preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide timely, accurate traffic and weather updates for listeners.
• Deliver up-to-the-minute reports on incidents and disruptions.
• Read updates on air including commercials and PSAs.
• Gather and verify information from multiple sources and feeds.
• Write and produce copy for air; edit audio with editing software.
• Maintain content on station websites and social channels.
• Create web, blog, and video content; adapt to schedule needs.
