Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
• Clear, pleasant on-air voice with pronunciation.
• Strong writing and editing abilities with a good command of grammar.
• Experience in a fast-paced newsroom.
• Knowledge of local traffic patterns and geography.
• Ability to verify information from multiple sources.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely, accurate, and useful traffic and weather information for listeners.
• Deliver up-to-the-minute reports on accidents, delays, and disruptions.
• Read traffic updates and PSAs on air.
• Gather information from multiple feeds to determine relevance.
